Popcorn Ceiling Removal

If you use traditional methods for popping up your popcorn and have never used ceiling cleaning products, then you may be surprised at how much easier and cheaper popcorn ceiling removal is than you think. In fact, if you use this method regularly, then you might be surprised at how little cleaning time it takes. In addition, if you don’t use cleaning products properly, they will end up on the carpet, which can be embarrassing and even unsafe.

A popular method is called the “wedge technique.” This method involves lifting the popcorn out of the corn cob by inserting a knife into the middle of the corn cob. Once you have popped up a corn cob, then you simply remove it from the cob with the knife and push it back through the slit in the corn. If you are using a knife, however, remember to keep the blade down, and never cut the corn by touching the knife or skin.

Another method is called the “popcorn cutter”knife scraper.” Using a piece of metal or wood, this method works by scraping away the popcorn, and the surface underneath. This method is best suited to clean larger areas of popcorn. However, it is still best to avoid using this method if your roof is made of sheet rock or plywood.

The third method is called the “corn hanger” method. This is similar to the wedge technique, but it uses a rope with hooks attached to it to hang up the corn. This method is ideal if you have a long, narrow space where you are going to pop your corn. The hooks will catch the popcorn and pull it straight up off the surface. However, if your ceiling is wider, then you will need to use the rope method to pull the corn up onto the wall. This method can take longer than the wedge method, as it requires more than one rope, but the results are often worth it.

Don’t use a ladder if you want to remove a corncob from its base. Laddering isn’t really recommended, as the corncob is very heavy, and it can be difficult to lift and move once it is on the ceiling. Use a ladder only if you have a large space and you have enough room to move the corncob.

Finally, if all else fails, you can always hire a popcorn ceiling cleaning service to remove your corncob and pop it up into a decorative ceiling to match your other ceiling fixtures. These services are available in most hardware stores, and they charge about $30 for an entire ceiling.
